What is Wishlink?
The fair, India-anchored answer — what it does, what it doesn’t, who it’s for.
The one-line answer
Wishlink is an India-native affiliate-link platform for Instagram creators. They run a catalog of brand campaigns, generate trackable affiliate links per creator per campaign, track conversions, and pay out commissions to creators in INR.
What it does well
- Brand catalog actually exists. Wishlink has done the unglamorous work of signing brand-side deals so creators can pick from a real catalog rather than chasing each brand individually. For a creator just getting started, that’s the hardest step removed.
- INR payouts that work. Wishlink pays creators in INR on a predictable cadence. For Indian creators, that beats trying to convert USD payouts from foreign affiliate networks.
- No subscription fee. Wishlink earns when you earn — they take a cut of the commission. Smaller creators aren’t locked out by a monthly bill.
- Discovery for smaller creators. The platform actively surfaces brand opportunities to creators who’d never get noticed by direct outreach.
What it doesn’t do
- It doesn’t send DMs. Wishlink generates the affiliate link and tracks the click after a fan reaches it. If someone comments on your post asking for the link, Wishlink doesn’t automatically DM it to them. That’s a separate tool’s job.
- No comment-to-DM automation, no multi-step flows. If you want fans who comment a keyword to receive the Wishlink affiliate link in DM automatically, you need a comment-to-DM tool layered on top.
- No AI assistant integration. You can’t ask Claude or ChatGPT to look at your Wishlink performance and tell you which reel converted best — that data isn’t exposed to AI assistants today.
- Approval gates. Not every creator gets approved for every campaign. That’s normal for affiliate platforms but it’s worth knowing — Wishlink is not a guaranteed earning surface for everyone.
Wishlink pricing
No subscription fee for creators. Wishlink takes a percentage cut of brand commissions per converted sale; the exact percentage varies by brand and campaign. Check wishlink.com for the live numbers and which campaigns are open.
When Wishlink is the right pick
If your primary monetization is affiliate marketing — sending fans to brand stores and earning a cut — Wishlink is one of the strongest options for Indian creators today. The brand catalog, the INR payout rail, and the lack of a subscription fee make it the right first stop.
How to use Wishlink with comment-to-DM today
The highest-leverage Indian affiliate creator stack right now is two tools layered:
- Wishlink — pick a brand campaign, generate your affiliate link.
- Creator Lane — paste that affiliate link into a comment-to-DM campaign. When fans comment your keyword on a reel (“BAG”, “RECIPE”, “PRODUCT”), Creator Lane sends the Wishlink link to every commenter automatically — and tracks every click back to the post that earned it.
Wishlink does what only Wishlink can do (the brand match and the payout). Creator Lane does what only Creator Lane can do (the comment-to-DM delivery, link tracking, AI assistant on top).
Where Creator Lane is going next
A native affiliate / brand-deals layer is on our roadmap. When it ships, the pitch becomes “do the whole loop inside Creator Lane” — the affiliate match, the DM delivery, the link tracking, the INR payout, all in one workspace, with Claude on top. Until then (and we’re not promising a date we’re not sure about), use Wishlink for the affiliate side and route the DM delivery through Creator Lane. Both tools pay you.
Creator Lane is free for life for our first 500 founding creators (100 taken). After 50, paid plans land — multi-currency, including INR.
If you do affiliate marketing on Instagram and you’re not yet automating your DMs, that’s the single fastest win available to you. Wishlink for the link, Creator Lane for the DM. Both free to start.
