Run a course launch — free

No credit card. Uncapped DMs.

The honest take
  • The free plan covers what most creators actually need
  • Same official Meta Graph API the paid tools use
  • Paid is for spam-prevention + business teams, not normal creators

Free is genuinely enough if…

  • You have under ~100k followers
  • You run a handful of automations, not dozens a week
  • You want comment-to-DM, link-in-bio, and a simple store

That's about 95% of creators on Creator Lane — no credit card, no catch.

Consider paid when…

  • You're a business or team that needs higher limits
  • You run automations at the kind of volume we cap to keep the platform spam-free
  • You want business-tier controls and priority support

Paid exists to stop spam automation and serve business teams — not because normal creators run out of room.

What this unlocks

  • Auto-DM your Teachable / Kajabi / Thinkific / Podia / Stan checkout link to every keyword commenter
  • Per-reel attribution: which content actually drove enrollments?
  • A/B variants tested against enrollments, not vanity engagement
  • Smart queue handles a launch-day spike without dropping commenters
  • Free forever — no card, no trial

Why course creators use Creator Lane

Course launches that don't require a manual VA day

Most launch playbooks involve a launch-day blitz where the creator (or a VA) manually replies to every commenter with the link. Creator Lane does that part — uncapped, in seconds, with personalization.

Course-grade revenue per click

Course AOVs sit in the $99–2,000 range. A 3% conversion rate at $499 means 100 DMs become $1,497 in revenue. Free dynamics × course economics is a strong combination.

Find the reel that pays

Per-reel attribution surfaces the exact piece of content that drove a $499 enrollment. Make more of that reel; stop making the ones that don't convert.

Smart queue for launch-day spikes

When a launch reel takes off, the rate-pacing queue ensures every commenter gets the DM within Instagram's API limits. No silent drops, no rage-tweets about being ignored.

The revenue math

A creator running a $499 course launch on a 100K-follower account: viral launch reel drives 1,500 commenters × 40% DM CTR × 1.5% close rate (typical for cold-funnel cohort launches) × $499 = $4,491 from a single reel. Pair with a 5-day launch sequence (5 reels) and a typical $499 cohort hits $20K–60K in launch revenue without any manual DM work.

What we saw running a $499 cohort launch through Creator Lane vs. manual reply

We helped a finance-creator client A/B a cohort launch — the same launch reel posted to two near-identical creator accounts, one running Creator Lane with a tracked checkout link, the other reply-by-hand. Over the 5-day enrollment window: 1,488 keyword comments on the automated account vs. 1,602 on the manual one (the manual one actually had more organic reach). The automated account DM'd 1,401 commenters inside Meta's 7-day window; the manual account replied to 312 before the creator burned out on day 2. Final enrollments at $499: 21 on automated ($10,479), 6 on manual ($2,994). The bigger finding wasn't the revenue gap though — it was that the per-reel attribution showed which of the 5 launch reels actually drove the enrollments (3 of 5 did most of the work). The creator's next cohort dropped the 2 dead reels and made 2 more in the style of the winners.

Frequently asked

Does this work for evergreen courses too, or only launches?
Both. Evergreen courses run as always-on campaigns; launches add a date-bound CTA layer ('comment now — cohort closes Friday'). Same mechanism, different cadence.
Can I send different DMs to early-bird vs full-price commenters?
Yes — run two campaigns on the same post with different keywords (EARLY vs LATE) pointing to different checkout URLs. Or rotate them on a schedule.
How does this compare to running ManyChat for a launch?
ManyChat works, but adds the 'Sent via ManyChat' footer (visible automation) and contact-based pricing that scales painfully on launch days. Creator Lane is free forever and unbranded — DMs land like personal replies.
Can I include video in the DM?
Instagram's Private Replies API supports text + a single link in the initial reply. Video clips can be in the linked checkout page or a follow-up message you send manually if the lead replies.
