- Why does my Reel cover look wrong on my profile grid?
- Because the grid doesn't show the full 1080 × 1920 cover — it shows a center-cropped 3:4 region. Anything near the top or bottom of the cover (text, faces) gets cut. The Reel-cover preset in this tool draws a dashed guide box for exactly that region; keep the important pixels inside it.
- JPG or PNG for social media images?
- JPG for photos — smaller files, platforms recompress anyway. PNG for screenshots, text-heavy graphics, and anything with sharp edges where JPG artifacts show. This tool exports both; the quality slider is fixed at 90% JPG, which survives every platform's recompression fine.
- Why is my image blurry after resizing?
- Usually one of two reasons: the source was smaller than the target (upscaling can't invent detail), or the resize was done in one giant step. This tool downscales in halving steps, which keeps edges sharp on big reductions — but it can't fix a source that's smaller than the output size.
