How do Instagram story reply auto-DMs work?
Add a keyword to a story sticker — a question box, poll, or emoji slider. When a fan replies with that keyword, Creator Lane detects it through the official Instagram API and sends them your link, product, or PDF in a DM, usually within about 6 seconds.
How is this different from comment-to-DM automation?
It is the same engine on a different surface. Comment auto-DM triggers on comments under a post or reel; story replies trigger on direct replies to your story. You can run the same keyword across both so one automation covers your whole account.
Does it still work after my story expires?
The automation runs while the story is live, within its 24-hour window. Replies that come in while the story is up are captured and answered; once a story expires there are no more replies to trigger on, so post a fresh one to keep the flow running.
